I recently spoke with Espi Bagwell regarding a home we are considering purchasing, we needed some advice and she steered us in the right direction.  As I reflected on our conversation, I thought of all the years that I have known her and the positive impact that she has had on my life.
I first met her in 1999 when I was planning on selling my home in Monrovia.  I started the process of interviewing agents in the area and of all those that I met, she clearly stood out. I shared the reason I was selling my home and with the other agents, I might as well have been talking to car salespersons. Not that there's anything wrong with that but Espi took the time to get to know me and the circumstances that led to me this decision.  I had to sell a home that I loved, share the proceeds and move on with my life.  Not only did she sell my home for far more than I ever thought I it would sell for, Espi also found me a rental home that was perfect my daughters and myself.  When I was again ready to buy, Espi was there to guide me and I became a homeowner again.  
Throughout the years, Espi has been my agent in seven real estate transactions where all of them were successes.  I have referred her to numerous friends and family who have also raved about the wonderful homes she has helped them buy or the great job she did for them when they wanted to sell.  All of those transactions, throughout all those years she has shown to be not only an agent but a person who went above and beyond what I or any of them could have ever hoped for.  Her professionalism, attention to detail, ability to see potential, her sense of doing what is right, truly stands out in how she does business.

  Espi Bagwell (EB+ Partners) helped us to buy our house 17 years ago and we were so happy with all that she had done for us then that when it came time to sell the house, we never doubted that we'd ask her to take on the job. Espi and her team were helpful from the moment we brought her on a couple months ahead of the move. She offered to take donations away to save us from the work and ultimately helped remove some of the hazard waste that was left after everything was cleaned. She walked through our house with us providing suggestions as to what projects would help us to appeal to buyers, then suggesting great tradespeople that made the house look amazing. We put the staging into Espi's hands, and she and her team made our house look absolutely stunning. She communicated with us at every stage of the process, helping us to understand the timelines and navigate the paperwork. Ultimately, her ability to judge the market and know how to position the house to find the right buyer allowed us to sell the house quickly and for over listing at a time when the market had become less stable. Lastly, Espi and her team are such fantastic people to work with, hardworking and ethical, but just genuinely warm and kind at all times.

  Our experience with you as a real estate agent was negative, you acted very unprofessional, abusively screaming over the phone at night as we asked you to lower your tone, putting pressure and holding us on the phone line with the hopes that we would drop out of the deal or miss our deadline. We know of other active members of this community that encounter the same negative attitude from you, to be clear I would not recommend you and furthermore I would encourage people to stay away from you.
Your venomous reply illustrates my point about my personal experience with your poor character, perfectly. Here, you FALSELY claim that I/we asked you "to circumvent or bypass the procedures and protocols required by the licensing authority", etc. Your highly offensive, cocky and bitter.

  What a lucky day it was when we first met Espi Bagwell. We were planning to sell my parent's estate. She came to the house with an amazing amount of experience, knowledge and extremely useful information. Absolutely no pressure. She knew we were calling other realtors and she encouraged us to do that. We thought, no matter what happens after that visit, we'd made a friend. Long story short we believed in Espi and agreed to list our parents' home with her. She and her team immediately began advising us on what to do, providing supplies and help from her crew whenever needed. She would tell us, "Don't you worry about anything." We hadn't even signed a formal listing agreement yet! When we caught the flu in the middle of everything, Espi even brought us food! We made a friend for life.  Fast forward 4 years. We decided to sell our house and, of course, we called Espi. Espi had an answer or provided help whenever a problem occurred. We'd already moved out of state once our house was listed and there was still lots left to do. Having lived in our home for 48 years I was very stressed by the thought of moving. Again she would tell us, "Don't you worry about anything." Espi and her associate, Amanda were always available for us and they literally took care of everything. Calls, texts & emails were always returned promptly. Staging our home beautifully made a great presentation and in the end our house sold for over asking! Espi also interviewed and found an excellent realtor for us in our new location.  Make your life simple. Reduce your stress and make the most money possible! Use Espi Bagwell!

  I couldn't say enough about how hard Espi works to help you sell and buy your home. She's helped me multiple times over the years and goes above and beyond.   If I could give more stars I would. Espi and Amanda are the most kind, patient, and professional team I have ever encountered. They have many resources and connections in the real estate market. They had a time line and strategy on how to present my home in the most appealing way to sell. When my home fell out of escrow twice (both times not seller's party fault) Espi and Amanda revised their strategy and got the sale through. I did not feel any pressure at all from either of them when making decisions. I was able to trust them completely due to their professionalism and experience. It was a long journey but Espi and Amanda made the sale of my home possible. THANK YOU!

  Long overdue review.... Espi sold our house last summer. She did an amazing job. She really knows the market. Just trust her & let her do her thing. She got us 30K above asking. She made selling a house pain free! Amanda Arroyo did a great job behind the scenes. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars.

  There are so few times in your life that are as stressful as selling or buying a home.  It had been 30 years that we had been in our home.  Children were born there, raised there and married there, it was a difficult and emotional decision.  Lots of memories for all.
Espi and Amanda were not unknown to us.  They were our neighbors years ago, and wonderful ones at that.  
We called Espi, and every step of the way she was there.  Whenever it was needed , she would come by and help us keep our sanity through the process
All in all, we have used Espi to sell three homes.  My mothers when she passed.  My step-mothers, when she passed a year later, and now our own home for retirement.  I could not have a better friend or realtor.
